Bizcap has brought its Line of Credit Ultra product to the UK market, offering small and medium-sized enterprises revolving access to working capital of up to £500,000 on terms of up to 12 months. The product is available now via the company’s UK website, with a separate broker and adviser channel for intermediaries.

The facility is structured as a revolving credit line rather than a term loan. Borrowers draw only what they need, repay, and draw again without reapplying, and interest accrues solely on the outstanding drawn balance. Bizcap is also offering a 0% introductory rate for the first four weeks of each drawdown, which effectively functions as a short-term float for businesses managing predictable cash cycles.
Sasha Berg, managing partner at Bizcap UK, said the product gives businesses greater control over their working capital. “Businesses don’t always know exactly when they’ll need additional funding or how much they’ll need to draw. Having a facility they can access when required gives SMEs the flexibility to manage seasonal demand, cover short-term cash flow gaps or fund new opportunities.”
Chief Commercial Officer Rhys Cunnah added that the product reflects Bizcap’s approach to credit assessment, which he described as considering the broader context of each business rather than applying a rigid, standardised model.
Positioning against invoice finance
Bizcap frames LOC Ultra explicitly as an alternative to invoice finance and debtor finance products, a segment that has long dominated the UK SME working capital market. The distinction matters commercially: invoice finance ties availability directly to the value of outstanding receivables, which can constrain growing businesses with lumpy or seasonal revenue. A revolving credit facility with a fixed limit offers more predictable access, though it also shifts credit risk assessment from the quality of the receivables ledger to the creditworthiness of the borrower.
The release does not disclose the underlying interest rate beyond the introductory 0% period, nor does it specify whether the facility is secured or unsecured. Both are material details for SME borrowers and brokers comparing the product against alternatives.
Market context
The UK SME lending market remains structurally underserved, a condition documented repeatedly by the British Business Bank in its annual Small Business Finance Markets reports. Challenger lenders including iwoca, Funding Circle and Capify have built substantial books on the back of that gap, competing primarily on speed of decision and flexibility of product structure rather than rate. Bizcap, which operates across the UK and internationally, is entering a market that is well-populated but where borrower demand has continued to outpace supply from high-street banks, particularly for sub-£500,000 facilities.
The broker channel that Bizcap is targeting for LOC Ultra is also significant. A large proportion of UK SME lending now flows through commercial finance brokers, and winning shelf space with intermediaries is often a faster route to volume than direct origination. The emphasis on repeat drawdown capability is well-suited to broker clients who return with the same customers across multiple cycles.
The FCA‘s consumer duty and existing commercial lending regulation do not apply uniformly to business lending, but brokers advising SME clients are subject to conduct expectations that will shape how LOC Ultra is presented in the market. Bizcap has not indicated whether the product carries FCA authorisation or operates under a business lending exemption, a point that advisers will want to confirm before recommending it to clients.
