Fundbox and Vaya unite to power embedded lending

Fundbox has announced a strategic move to bolster its embedded capital infrastructure by joining forces with the founding team of Vaya Technologies Inc.

The partnership brings Vaya’s co-founders, Ankit Singh and Soham Sen, into leadership roles within Fundbox’s product and engineering divisions. The collaboration aims to strengthen Fundbox’s partner offerings and accelerate the rollout of innovative credit products for small businesses.

Established in 2021, Vaya developed an end-to-end embedded lending platform that enables vertical SaaS providers in the US to offer branded capital solutions to their small business customers. The platform is used by over a dozen SaaS firms and is noted for its unique technology that integrates credit incentives to encourage product adoption.

Fundbox CEO Prashant Fuloria said, “We are looking forward to having the Vaya team onboard. Their expertise in credit infrastructure across geographies, embedded fintech solutions, and vertical SaaS platforms will help Fundbox expand our offerings and better serve our partners globally.”

Ankit Singh, Co-founder and Co-CEO at Vaya, said, “Fundbox pioneered embedded credit, and we’re eager to build on the strong foundation the team has established over the years.”

Fundbox, founded in 2013, has helped over 150,000 small businesses access more than $6bn in working capital.
