ChainUp, a provider of digital asset solutions, has been named a finalist in two categories at the Asian Legal Business (ALB) Pan-Asian Regulatory Awards 2025. The awards, presented by Thomson Reuters, recognise achievements in regulatory compliance within the financial industry.
The company’s nominations are for ‘Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) Compliance Team of the Year’ and ‘Transaction Monitoring Solution Provider of the Year’. ChainUp said the nominations relate to its focus on providing infrastructure to meet compliance challenges in the digital asset sector.

Sailor Zhong, founder and chief executive officer of ChainUp, said: “The digital asset space is at a pivotal inflection point, and being a finalist for a Thomson Reuters-backed award validates our strategic focus on institutional-grade security and compliance.
“Our solutions are engineered to empower businesses with the tools needed to navigate evolving mandates, from sanctions screening to combating financial crime, enabling them to operate with clarity and integrity.”
Focus on compliance and transaction monitoring
Founded in 2017 and headquartered in Singapore, ChainUp provides a suite of digital asset solutions to clients ranging from Web3 companies to established financial institutions.
The nomination for ‘Transaction Monitoring Solution Provider of the Year’ relates to the company’s tools designed to help firms track and analyse cryptocurrency transactions. ChainUp’s offerings also include a KYT (know your transaction) crypto tracing analytics tool, alongside custody services, liquidity solutions and MPC wallets.
Its nomination for ‘VASP Compliance Team of the Year’ highlights the increasing regulatory focus on virtual asset service providers. As regulators globally intensify scrutiny on anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism financing (CTF) protocols, VASPs require robust internal compliance processes as well as external monitoring tools to manage risk and meet reporting obligations.
An independent panel of senior legal industry leaders judges the ALB Pan-Asian Regulatory Awards. The organisers will also announce the winners of the 2025 awards at a ceremony in Singapore on 18 September 2025.
