Gaby Diamant, co-founder and CEO of BridgeWise, discusses the journey from a hedge fund algorithm to a global AI platform.

Tell us more about your company and its offering

BridgeWise is a global leader in AI for investments. We focus on making high-quality financial intelligence accessible to institutional and individual investors using industry-leading AI that is purpose-built for the financial world. Our technology provides multilingual, regulation-aligned analysis across equities, funds, and now fixed income.

Our services are built around proprietary AI and micro language models designed to analyse financial data at scale while remaining fully transparent. Our core analytical suite includes StockWise, FundWise, FixedWise, ThemeWise, and AltWise. These insights are delivered intuitively through Bridget™, our investment-focused AI chat solution. Most recently, we launched FixedWise, the first AI-driven solution providing granular bond-level intelligence to the European market.

What problem was your company set up to solve?

Investors today are often overwhelmed or stunted by the massive amount of financial information available. BridgeWise was founded to close this gap and make investing an equitable experience for everyone, whether institutional or private. Our goal was to use data-driven insights to simplify and democratise investment intelligence. We wanted to create technology that works globally, supports multiple languages, aligns with local regulations, and delivers insights with complete transparency and explainability.

Since launch, how has your company evolved?

We have evolved from a core algorithm that originally powered a market-neutral hedge fund into a global platform serving institutions across Europe, Asia, and South America. In our early days, we focused primarily on stocks and funds. As we expanded, we saw the value in supporting the full investor experience, leading to broader coverage and the introduction of interactive intelligence via Bridget™.

What has been the biggest challenge or most ‘tricky moment’ to overcome?

The most challenging period occurred before our official launch. Our original algorithm was tested under extreme conditions during the height of COVID-19’s market volatility. Markets were moving nearly 5% daily, and we witnessed one of the largest single-day shifts between growth and value stocks following the Pfizer vaccine announcement. While it would have been easy to doubt the model, we stayed committed. Ultimately, the model held and delivered a positive return during a month when global markets fell roughly 30%. This experience shaped our conviction in building resilient, transparent technology.

What are your biggest achievements or ‘proudest moment’ so far?

BridgeWise has come a long way, from being named on the CB Insights Fintech 100 to establishing partnerships with global exchanges and financial institutions. However, what stands out most is seeing our technology empower more than 25 million investors. Reaching that scale is an amazing feat for the team.

How would you describe the culture of your company?

Our culture is guided by three principles: innovation with discipline, transparency as a core value, and teamwork without silos. We aim to move at market speed without sacrificing the structure and trust we’ve built. Our technology, research, commercial, and compliance teams work side-by-side from the earliest stages of development. This shared accountability ensures we stay focused on building products that are accurate and genuinely helpful to real investors.

What’s in store for the future?

Our priority is to strengthen both the depth and breadth of our verticalized AI for investing and wealth. This includes deeper insights and more interactive experiences. We are also expanding our ETF intelligence through international partnerships with specialist data providers. Looking at the broader industry, I expect AI to become an active participant in the process—not just presenting info, but helping shape decisions through predictive insights and personalised guidance.
