Félix, a cross-border remittance platform, has expanded its collaboration with Mastercard to modernise remittance flows between the United States and Latin America, delivering faster, more transparent, and secure payment experiences.
The new product integration enables users to initiate transfers via Félix’s AI-powered chatbot on WhatsApp, either through text or voice note, according to FF News.
By leveraging Mastercard Move, the platform allows senders to fund transfers using a debit card, delivering payments rapidly and securely to recipients, often in a matter of minutes.
This reduces friction and enhances trust across borders, providing a smoother and more reliable remittance experience.
Félix facilitates cross-border money transfers through an intuitive platform that leverages AI technology and digital communication channels.
The platform allows users to send funds quickly and safely to friends and family, particularly in regions where access to reliable financial services remains limited. Over 500,000 users across El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, and the Dominican Republic are currently using Félix.
The collaboration combines Mastercard’s global payment infrastructure with Félix’s technology, streamlining the remittance process while maintaining a focus on financial inclusion and innovation.
The integration aims to make it simpler for families to support one another without delays, directly impacting the day-to-day lives of users in Latin America.
“Families should not have to wait days after payday to see support arrive,” Félix VP Claudia Garavini said. “With the integration of Mastercard Move, users are able to fund a transfer with a debit card and know their family will receive the money quickly, often in minutes.
