Key topics at this year’s Frankfurt Digital Finance conference will include discussions on frameworks, a focus on innovation and transformation financing in Europe and growth strategies for the financial industry as the event returns for its sixth edition.Â
Taking place over two days, 12-13 February 2025 at Gesellschaftshaus Palmengarten, Frankfurt, Germany, this year’s Frankfurt Digital Finance conference will follow in the path of its predecessors and combine tradition with innovation, bringing together stakeholders from diverse sectors – from startups to established banks to investors.
Day one of the conference will address current tech trends in the European financial industry, including artificial intelligence, electronic securities, and crypto and digital assets. Day two will bring together startups and scaleups from fintech hubs across Europe with potential customers, partners, and investors. The goal is to promote growth within and beyond the region by offering direct financing opportunities and exploring collaboration potential between established institutions and young companies.
“Now is the moment for Europe to act together and unlock the full potential of its financial industry,” says Corinna Egerer, founder of Frankfurt Digital Finance.
Fostering innovation
Participants can look forward to pitch sessions featuring fintechs from across Europe, a marketplace for innovative solutions, and in-depth insights from experts into important technologies and business models. The event will also offer a separate investor meet-up and stage interviews with scale-ups and their investors, making it a key networking opportunity for venture capital investors.
After the US presidential elections and the upcoming elections in Germany, Europe will be under scrutiny. Under the motto “Time to act, Europe! Unleashing the potential of the financial industry,” prominent speakers will discuss the future of Europe as a financial hub. Speakers include:
- Christiana Riley, regional head of North America, Santander
- Philippe Oddo, managing partner and CEO, ODDO BHF
- Alexandre Prot, co-founder, Qonto
- Nicola Beer, vice president, EIB
- Burkhard Balz, board member, Deutsche Bundesbank

The goal of Frankfurt Digital Finance is to actively support the digital transformation of the industry and develop a sustainable vision for the future of Europe’s financial industry. Through inspiring keynotes, hands-on workshops, and extensive networking opportunities, the event fosters cross-border and cross-sector exchange.
