J.P. Morgan Personal Investing, a leading U.K. digital wealth manager within global financial group J.P. Morgan, has officially launched under its own brand in the U.K. retail market.
The move completes the transition of the Nutmeg business into J.P. Morgan Personal Investing, bringing together the bank’s global investment expertise and Nutmeg’s technology-led digital investment capabilities under a single name.
The launch of the J.P. Morgan Personal Investing brand is designed to simplify the customer experience and broaden the firm’s proposition for retail investors.
J.P. Morgan Personal Investing (JPM PI) is a UK-focused digital wealth manager serving both seasoned and first-time investors as they work towards specific financial objectives. The platform offers access to 150 years of investing experience through an intuitive app, supported by award-winning service and a mix of free financial guidance and paid-for restricted advice. J.P. Morgan Personal Investing currently manages more than £8.75bn in assets on behalf of over 270,000 clients across the UK.
Under the new brand, J.P. Morgan Personal Investing continues to provide managed investments, pensions and ISAs. A new Wealth Planner feature, due to roll out in the coming weeks, will give clients a consolidated view of their total wealth and provide tailored suggestions on how they might move closer to their goals. Clients will be able to model different scenarios digitally before making changes, customising their investment strategies and decisions with greater confidence.
The product suite will continue to evolve, with a series of enhancements scheduled over the coming years. From November 2025, clients with more than £250k invested will gain access to dedicated relationship managers, aligned to their accounts to provide a one-to-one experience and professional expertise. These relationship managers will sit alongside the existing free financial guidance available to all clients and the paid-for restricted advice service.
In 2026, J.P. Morgan Personal Investing will launch a full DIY investment platform, allowing investors to buy and sell their own investments. This will complement the firm’s existing range of managed portfolios, including Smart Alpha portfolios powered by J.P. Morgan Asset Management.
