JPMorganChase is set to enhance its UK consumer offering with the launch of J.P. Morgan Personal Investing in November 2025.
The new retail wealth management and investment brand will replace the digital wealth manager Nutmeg, which JPMorganChase acquired in 2021.
Available as a standalone platform and through the Chase UK app, the new service will provide managed investments, pensions, and ISAs, alongside digital financial planning tools, dedicated relationship managers, and, in 2026, a DIY investment platform.
The new platform aims to merge J.P. Morgan’s global investment expertise, built over 150 years, with cutting-edge digital innovation. This hybrid approach reflects the growing appetite among U.K consumers for sophisticated yet accessible digital financial services.
JPMorganChase CEO of international consumer banking Mark O’Donovan said, “Consumers in the U.K. are world-leading in adopting digital financial services, and today is an important next step in the evolution of our offering in the U.K. market, leveraging J.P. Morgan expertise and heritage to provide consumers with exceptional investment products and services.
“J.P. Morgan Personal Investing will give retail customers in the U.K. the ability to bank with Chase and invest with J.P. Morgan.”Â
J.P. Morgan Personal Investing will integrate all Nutmeg’s existing services while introducing new features to enhance the client experience. One of the flagship additions is Wealth Planner, a digital tool designed to give clients an overview of their total wealth. It provides tailored insights and recommendations to help customers work towards their financial goals, allowing them to test different strategies before making decisions.
From November 2025, clients with over ÂŁ250,000 invested will gain access to dedicated relationship managers, offering personalised one-to-one service and expert advice. This complements the existing free financial guidance and the optional paid-for restricted advice already available to Nutmeg clients.
In 2026, the firm will also introduce a DIY investment platform, enabling clients to buy and sell shares, bonds, funds, and other asset classes independently.
Since its launch in 2012, Nutmeg has become a leading digital challenger in the UK wealth management space. Under JPMorganChase’s ownership, it has more than doubled its assets under management, growing from £3.5bn at acquisition to over £8.5bn, and expanding its customer base from 140,000 to 265,000 investors.
O’Donovan added, “Nutmeg was founded with the ambitious aim to democratise the world of investing and wealth management and empower generations of investors to achieve their financial goals. Under the ownership of J.P. Morgan, the company has experienced significant growth and clients have benefitted from extensive investment in our products and services.”
