Nuvei and Zuora boost global subscription payments

Nuvei has announced a strategic integration with Zuora, a leading monetisation platform for modern businesses.

The collaboration is aimed at enhancing recurring revenue models for enterprises operating at global scale, giving Zuora’s customers access to Nuvei’s advanced payments infrastructure to support growth in both established and high-growth markets.

The integration unites Zuora’s monetisation expertise with Nuvei’s global acquiring network, local payment method support, and real-time transaction optimisation.

For international enterprises, this is designed to streamline subscription billing and recurring payments, boosting authorisation rates, improving reconciliation processes, and simplifying expansion into new markets without relying on multiple local integrations or additional PSP relationships.

The announcement comes at a time when the subscription economy is forecast to accelerate significantly. Global transaction value for subscriptions is projected to rise from $593bn in 2024 to $996bn in 2028, representing a 68% increase in just four years, according to data from Juniper Research.

Zuora’s Subscription Economy Index has also found that companies embracing this model have achieved revenue growth 11% faster than the broader economy, measured against the S&P 500, over the past two years, it claimed.

Nuvei chair and CEO Phil Fayer said, “Enterprise merchants are doubling down on recurring revenue models, and payments are a critical part of delivering seamless, localized experiences at scale.

“This integration with Zuora reflects our ability to support complex, high-volume businesses with agile, modular payment solutions, particularly in growth markets like Latin America, where consumer demand for subscription services is accelerating.”

Zuora VP of strategic partnerships and M&A Daniel Enekes said, “This partnership marks a significant step in scaling the global reach of Zuora’s monetization platform.

“As more enterprises adopt recurring revenue models, especially in high-growth markets, our integration with Nuvei empowers them to scale subscription, usage-based, and hybrid offerings with the agility, compliance, and local payment sophistication needed to succeed worldwide.”
