PayRetailers debuts EON to power AI-driven payments

PayRetailers has unveiled its new enterprise AI platform, EON, designed to transform how merchants and internal teams engage with payment data.

EON integrates directly into the company’s Merchant Portal, giving users access to a powerful suite of AI-enabled tools.

Merchants can use natural language to search transactions, generate on-demand custom reports, and create adaptive dashboards. The system also introduces proactive support capabilities through automated ticket creation and diagnostics, cutting down the time needed to identify and resolve issues.

For internal operations, EON automates critical processes such as ticket management and interdepartmental workflows. The system can categorise and route queries, resolve frequent problems autonomously, and streamline information sharing between teams.

Built entirely in-house, EON has been developed by PayRetailers’ technology teams with a strong focus on compliance and data protection. All data remains within the company’s secure environment and adheres to PCI-DSS and GDPR standards.

PayRetailers chief commercial officer Tristán Torres Velat said, “EON represents an important step in how we and our merchants interact with payments. For merchants, it removes barriers that often make payments data difficult to use in practice. A simple natural language query can now provide detailed insights, reports or diagnostics without extra training or cost. For our internal teams, it reduces silos, speeds up processes, and allows them to focus on higher-value work that benefits our customers. AI is not something for the future – it is shaping the way payments work today.”

PayRetailers chief technology officer Daniel Niezgoda added, “With EON, we have built capabilities that will support merchants now and for years to come. Developed fully in-house, EON draws on our experience in the payments industry.

“We have designed a solution from the inside out – created for the industry by the industry – with maximum data security and compliance at its core. No data leaves the PayRetailers environment, and no data is used to train external models. This gives customers confidence they can take seamlessly integrate and then maximise the potential of AI without compromising privacy, while ensuring the technology is aligned with real merchant needs.”

The company will initially roll out EON to a selected group of merchants through its Merchant Portal, offering core functionalities at no additional cost. Based on feedback and performance, PayRetailers plans to expand access and introduce additional features in the coming months.
