Vennre, a wealth creation platform designed for ‘High Earners, Not Rich Yet’ (HENRYs), has successfully closed a $9.6million Pre-Series A funding round.
The round, structured as a hybrid of equity and debt, was co-led by Vision Ventures and anb seed fund. It also saw participation from Sanabil 500, Ace & Co, Plus VC, and strategic individual investors from the private banking and technology sectors.
Democratising private markets
The capital injection will drive Vennre’s mission to digitise and democratise access to private market opportunities—such as private equity, venture capital, real estate, and private credit—that have traditionally been reserved for institutional investors or the ultra-wealthy.
The platform offers a Shariah-compliant solution that bypasses traditional gatekeepers, catering specifically to the rising demographic of high-income professionals in the MENA region who seek to compound their wealth but lack access to institutional-grade tools.
Ziad Mabsout, CEO and co-founder of Vennre, commented on the specific needs of this demographic: “A generation of ambitious professionals across the region has earned success but has not been given the tools required to compound it… We are building for long-term wealth creation, not one-off transactions – starting with curated and vetted private investment opportunities and expanding into a full wealth journey built on discipline, trust, and alignment”.
Traction and leadership
Alongside the funding news, Vennre announced it has surpassed $40million in transaction value across its platform, signaling strong market traction. The company also appointed Dr. Ibrahim Al Mojel as chairman of its Saudi board, a move expected to bolster its governance and strategic footing in the Kingdom.
Kais Al-Essa, founding partner and CEO of Vision Ventures, highlighted the gap in the market: “Vennre enables access to high quality investment opportunities in real estate, private equity, venture capital and private credit. These four asset classes were previously available to a select few. Democratizing such access is one of our investment goals at Vision Ventures as it enables generational wealth creation… in line with Saudi Arabia’s financial sector development plan”.
Khalid S. Alghamdi, CEO of anb capital, noted the broader disparity in global asset allocation: “Private markets globally already manage more than $14trillion in assets, yet individual investors account for less than 5% of that exposure. Vennre directly addresses this imbalance by offering Shariah-compliant access to a segment long excluded from these opportunities”.
Vennre plans to deploy the new capital to expand its client network, launch new platform features, and deepen its presence in Saudi Arabia to align with the country’s ongoing financial sector liberalisation.
