Voya Financial has launched WealthPath, a new platform designed to strengthen its wealth management capabilities and empower financial advisors to provide more integrated and personalised financial guidance.
Developed in partnership with Orion, the platform brings together financial planning, investment execution, portfolio review and relationship management into one streamlined system.
It follows the company’s December 2024 announcement outlining its plan to build a differentiated advice platform that supports individuals through every stage of their financial journey.
Voya Financial wealth management president John Brett said, “WealthPath represents a significant commitment to our advisors and the clients we serve to provide world-class guided financial planning and investment solutions. True to its name, WealthPath is designed with Voya’s vision front of mind: clear the path to financial confidence and a more fulfilling life. I’m proud of how the team executed on this critical strategy.”
WealthPath is expected to play a key role in attracting and retaining top financial talent, while fostering a team-based approach to client servicing. Its integrated functionality is aimed at helping advisors deliver a holistic experience that enhances client satisfaction and long-term outcomes.
Initially, advisors within Voya’s Retirement Advisor Distribution (RAD) network and employee advisors in its Investor Channel will be the first to use the platform. It will streamline workflows, enhance operational efficiency, and support fiduciary responsibilities by offering a centralised hub for portfolio and financial planning activities.
Voya Financial Advisors president Jon Reilly said, “WealthPath brings planning, investment strategy execution and portfolio review workflows into concentric circles, so that advisors can produce the strongest possible outcomes as fiduciaries to their clients, improve net new money and grow their portfolios.”
Voya’s recent survey highlights that 48% of employed Americans would be more inclined to stay with their employer if offered access to a professional financial advisor. With approximately 15 million customers across its business lines, Voya aims to use WealthPath to address this need — helping advisors recapture rollovers, manage outflows, and optimise unmanaged assets in retirement accounts.
Orion executive vice president of technology sales Todd Bertucci said, “The platform offers a unified experience by integrating Orion’s pioneering technology with Voya’s systems. It enhances every aspect of the advisory process — from planning and portfolio management to compliance — so advisors can focus more on what matters most: their clients.”
