A new partnership has been announced between Bourgeois Bohème (BOBO), a financial platform for the new generation of high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) and ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs), and Google Pay and Garmin Pay, as the financial platform looks to make payments faster and more secure.
With Google Pay, BOBO users can now add their cards to Google Wallet and tap to pay at millions of locations worldwide. Garmin Pay enables payments directly from Garmin smartwatches, offering a seamless way for users to access their accounts while on the go. These additions mark a significant step in enhancing the digital payment experience for BOBO’s discerning clientele.

“Expanding our payment ecosystem with Google Pay and Garmin Pay reflects our commitment to providing seamless, cutting-edge financial solutions,” said Hugo Gomez, co-founder and CEO of BOBO. “Our clients expect functionality that aligns with their fast-paced lifestyles, and these integrations deliver exactly that—secure, efficient, and globally recognised payment options.”
How it works
To start using Google Pay, customers can download Google Wallet from Google Play, add their BOBO card, and begin tapping to pay where contactless payments are accepted. Google Pay is accepted in stores, online, and in apps, offering flexibility and security for BOBO users.
Garmin Pay provides similar ease of use, allowing payments directly from a Garmin smartwatch, ideal for active lifestyles.
Security remains paramount with both solutions. Google Pay ensures that actual card numbers are never shared with merchants during transactions, using tokenisation to enhance privacy and security. Garmin Pay offers similar safeguards, requiring passcode protection and encrypting payment data for every transaction.
These integrations complement BOBO’s existing features, including tailored secondary accounts, household financial management tools, and a redesigned app that provides an intuitive experience for managing complex financial needs of (U)HNWIs.
