Fashion retailer Bonprix, part of the Otto Group, has announced a new partnership with Trustly as part of its broader digital expansion strategy.
The collaboration will see Trustly’s Account-to-Account (A2A) payment solution rolled out across Finland, Sweden, and Norway, providing customers with a faster and more secure payment experience.
This move is being made alongside Computop, and aims to simplify the checkout process while boosting conversion rates in the competitive Nordic e-commerce market. Trustly’s A2A technology allows consumers to pay directly from their bank accounts, bypassing the need for traditional card payments and reducing the likelihood of customers abandoning their purchases at checkout.
Bonprix senior manager, payment & accounting Birgit Jacobsen said, “We want to offer our customers the simplest and smoothest shopping experience possible. Trustly’s A2A payments make the payment process more seamless and secure for users, which also leads to a better conversion rate for us. This collaboration is a natural step in our digital growth strategy in the Nordics.”
Trustly, which has established itself as a leader in Open Banking payments, enables direct payments in more than 33 countries. Its technology is designed to reduce friction in transactions and improve the customer experience.
Trustly CEO Johan Tjarnberg said, “We are pleased to support Bonprix in their expansion in the Nordic market. By offering a fast and smooth payment solution, we can contribute to a better user experience and increased conversion for merchants. Our collaboration with Bonprix and Computop is an example of how we can drive innovation in e-commerce payments.”
