Broker Conveyancing, the mortgage-intermediary conveyancing referral business owned by Movera group, has launched The Hub, a rebuilt portal that replaces its existing broker-facing platform. The product went live on 23 July 2026 following a gradual rollout designed to preserve continuity for existing members.

The Hub allows mortgage brokers to request conveyancing quotes from a panel of solicitor firms in under 15 seconds, according to the company. The quote output now includes a comprehensive fee breakdown listing all included services and optional add-ons, a change the firm says addresses broker complaints about fee transparency. An all-inclusive remortgage bundle has also been introduced, priced from £175, though the company did not provide comparative pricing for predecessor products or detail what the bundle covers beyond the headline figure.
Existing users retain their current login credentials and access to historical quotes and instructions during the transition. The original portal will remain live in parallel while members migrate at their own pace.
Mark Tosetti, chief executive of Broker Conveyancing, described the launch as a platform rather than a product release. “This isn’t just a one-off upgrade to our referral portal,” he said. “It crucially provides a new and improved foundation on which we can build and provide continuous improvement for our users, based on feedback we’ve collected from our members over the past year.” Tosetti indicated that a roadmap of further enhancements is planned for the next 12 to 24 months, without providing specifics.
Market context
The conveyancing referral and technology sector sits at a complicated junction in the UK mortgage market. Rising remortgage volumes driven by the rate cycle have increased demand for streamlined conveyancing workflows, but brokers also face tighter commission scrutiny following Consumer Duty implementation, which places fresh obligations on firms to demonstrate value at each referral step. Fee transparency tools of the kind The Hub is advertising are therefore commercially useful and also carry a compliance dimension: brokers need to evidence that referral arrangements serve the client’s interest, not just their own pipeline.
Broker Conveyancing competes with a range of conveyancing panel management and referral platforms, several of which are embedded directly into mortgage origination software used by brokers. The competitive risk for a standalone portal is substitution by software that integrates conveyancing referral as a native feature rather than a separate login. Tosetti’s framing of the company as “a partner, not just a portal” suggests an awareness of that risk, though the release does not detail integrations with CRM or mortgage-origination platforms, which would be the clearest evidence of stickiness.
The launch also forms part of a broader repositioning under the Movera group, which brought together ONP Solicitors, Cavendish Legal Group, LMS, CAL and several other brands. The group processed more than 300,000 conveyancing transactions and 125,000 remortgage transactions annually, according to its own figures. The rebrand to a unified CAL identity, alongside the portal launch, signals an intent to consolidate brand equity across the intermediary market rather than operate as a loose collection of acquired businesses.
Regulatory path
Conveyancing referral arrangements in England and Wales are governed by the Solicitors Regulation Authority‘s referral fee disclosure rules as well as the FCA‘s Consumer Duty requirements where the broker is authorised. The fee-breakdown feature in The Hub is a direct operational response to those requirements, making the disclosure obligation easier to fulfil at the point of recommendation. Brokers adding this service to their proposition will still need to satisfy themselves that the panel solicitors meet their own due-diligence standards, a point the company does not address in the announcement.
