Malta, a small but vibrant financial hub, hosts fintech startups, fund managers, insurance firms and payment providers in close proximity. Despite its size, Malta supports diverse financial activities with a mix of international and local institutions.
During this year’s Money20/20 Europe in Amsterdam, Finance Malta – the public-private initiative set up to promote Malta as a financial centre – showcased the island country’s unique fintech offering.
The Malta stand at the show saw a collaboration of key government entities that also included Malta Enterprise, Tech-MT and the Malta Stock Exchange.
