Jenius Bank Evolves Its Offering and Mobile App to Provide Better Personalisation

To help customers improve their cashflow with healthier spending and earning habits, and in turn make smarter financial decisions, Jenius Bank, the digital banking division of SMBC MANUBANK, a member of the SMBC Group, is launching the next-generation version of its mobile app and online banking platform.

The new Jenius Bank platform will provide free, personalised insights, and allow them to enjoy a 360-degree view of their finances in one place when they link relevant external financial accounts, like credit cards and investment portfolios.

Staying on top of personal finances can be an overwhelming, all-consuming task, especially for busy people. Jenius Bank believes that by having a holistic view of one’s financial habits, customers can curb financial stress by knowing exactly where their money is going, helping to bring them a newfound sense of control and peace of mind.

In line with this notion, Jenius Bank’s latest consumer research revealed that even with rising costs, there are still some things people refuse to give up, including media and entertainment purchases (30.1 per cent), travel (29.3 per cent), and health and wellness expenses (26.9 per cent).

With Jenius Bank, consumers are now armed with real-time insights on where their money is being spent, providing a view to help ensure their spending habits align with what makes them happy, and practice intentional spending to live their definition of a ‘rich life’.

What does Jenius Bank provide?

Jenius Bank now empowers customers to:

  • Track monthly spending, earning, and saving

With a place to track their financial progress, the Jenius Bank mobile app and online banking platform allows consumers to feel in control of their finances. Survey consumers revealed their top three definitions of richness as: Not having financial debt (33.4 per cent), retiring early without concern (33.1 per cent), and establishing generational wealth (27.8 per cent, according to Jenius Bank research).
