On this week’s episode of News & Views, The Fintech Times Podcast team speak about what it would take to see an NFT revival and INZMO launching a new AI chatbot, RentalBot to help tenants and landlords get the legal info they need to resolve disputes.
Unfortunately, the Podcast team was once again down a member. With Polly away, Tom and Francis took the reigns and discussed INZMO’s new service being launched in Germany. Both agreed that the service was a very welcome offering, however, the area of debate primarily revolved around the price point, with Francis suggesting that the AI bot should be free to access. Meanwhile, Tom put forward the counterpoint that a company offering a solution to a pain point should be able to capitalise and profit from it.
Following this, the conversation turned to NFTs. The duo’s views were more aligned this time, with both seeing the merit of an NFT – providing it had some real-life benefits. They both agreed that the popularity of buying an NFT for ownership over a digital picture would not return. However, a jpeg could act as a virtual key or evidence that someone belonged to an exclusive club. In this regard, Tom and Francis said an NFT return could happen (just not to the same extent as in 2021).
