Partnership Sees Network International Back Orabank Customer Experience and Digital Transformation

Network International, the digital commerce enabler in the Middle East and Africa (MEA), is extending its strategic partnership with Orabank Group, the largest banking group in Francophone Africa, in a move to enhance the bank’s prepaid and agent banking solutions.

Orabank Group explained that it hopes to enhance the banking experience for its customers and enable its digital transformation, through the continuation of its partnership with Network International. It revealed plans to leverage Network International’s expertise to bolster its competitiveness in the Francophone markets.

“We are thrilled to enter a new phase of growth through the strategic partnership with Network International,” explained Ferdinand Ngon Kemoum, group CEO of Orabank Group. “Using Network’s expertise, we are shaping the future of the digital payment market in Francophone Africa with new products and services that will facilitate our digital payment transformation. This offers an elevated experience for our customers and emphasises our pivotal role in the financial market.”

The decision also strengthens Network International’s existing partnership with Orabank Group by introducing innovative payment technology and solutions to enhance consumer trust and convenience.

The news comes shortly after Network International revealed it was partnering with Zand, the UAE’s first digital bank, with the two entities hoping to enhance and expand financial services for fintechs and startups in the region. Network will also introduce access to card schemes and advanced digital financial services for new emerging fintechs.
