First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), the UAE’s largest bank, is implementing Oracle Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM) to consolidate its human resources (HR) function on the cloud.
As First Abu Dhabi Bank continues its major digitalisation programme, it hopes that Oracle Cloud HCM will enable it to unify, plan, manage, and optimise global people processes with a common data source to make better decisions and deliver a more personalised experience for its employees.
By partnering with global tech company Oracle, FAB is hoping to establish itself as a ‘future-ready’ bank capable of thriving in the AI-driven economy by embracing emerging technologies, delivering operational efficiency, and driving business growth through personalised financial solutions.
Leveraging embedded AI, digital assistants, as well as a host of new incoming capabilities, Oracle Cloud HCM aims to help FAB continuously introduce new features across its global HR function.

By connecting all HR data on a single platform, FAB’s HR teams have access to a single source of truth to inform their people strategy and improve decision-making.”
Oracle Cloud HCM also plans to help FAB connect processes across the employee lifecycle, including recruiting and workforce management, helping to improve decision-making and reduce operational costs. In addition, Oracle Payroll will look to provide FAB with a highly configurable, unified solution for efficient, compliant payroll processing.
Oracle says the cloud-based software should empower FAB employees with the latest digital tools to support a culture of innovation and continuous development.
