XMDS Holding, a Netherlands-based software company, has launched XPP, a new umbrella organisation comprising specialised payment solutions Vayapay, Ginger Payments, KUARIO, and Pecunda.
Through the launch of XPP, XMDS aims to strengthen the solutions offered by the payment solution providers in each of their specific markets, from education and public facilities to public transport and financial services.
“Our mission is to modernise embedded transactions and payments with scalable payment solutions,” explains Tom van der Poel, CEO of XPP. “Under the XPP umbrella, we offer specialised SaaS solutions for various sectors, from education and public facilities such as libraries and post offices, to public transport and financial services. Each platform removes the complexity of payments within its specific domain, with proven technology that perfectly aligns with sector requirements.”
XPP represents a significant milestone for XMDS Holding, reaffirming its commitment to excellence in payment solutions. Headquartered in Haarlem, just to the West of Amsterdam, XPP’s technology serves thousands of clients across Europe, ensuring seamless payments and transactions in various sectors.
European coverage
The brands under XPP have already established a strong international position, with their clients spanning across Europe in the likes of Switzerland, Austria, Sweden, the UK, and Germany. Ginger Payments serves major banks including Rabobank and payment service providers such as Fiserv/EMS and Xpate with robust online payment technology.
The brand’s technology also powers contactless EMV and digital ticketing solutions for major Nordic operators including Flytoget and FARA, as well as transactions for printers in all post offices across Switzerland and Austria.
“From morning coffee in the canteen, a journey on public transport, to printing at the library – across Europe, people unknowingly use our XPP technology every day,” Van der Poel also explained. “Our standardised SaaS solutions enable libraries, post offices, universities, transport operators and financial institutions to process embedded payments seamlessly. Through this integration, we help organisations operate more efficiently and also provide their customers with a smoother experience.”
“The launch of XPP marks a significant milestone for XMDS Holding,” added René Hodde, founder and CEO of XMDS Holding. “While we’re known for our expertise in payment software, XPP elevates our offering by delivering specialised payment products across key European sectors. This focused approach empowers our clients to thrive while strengthening our position as a leader in the payments industry.”
